My Cell Phone Is Dead…..What I’m Doing Next

Cell Phone Battery Dead

Cell Phone Battery Dead

The 21st century is all about technology. We all are connected with our gadgets and devices; they are our extensions, our organizers, and our guide to the world we create around us. A day without your handheld is a day gone to waste, you would be at a loss to what to do, how to get in touch with some immediately, you would be like a lost puppy if for one day you lose your mobile it is our savior our guide.

If you wake up one day and find your iPhone unresponsive, it does not start or as a matter of fact doesn’t do anything, than its DEAD! You don’t need to worry as many people have had the same issue, which means that it has a solution.

All you need to do is follow these steps:

1.   Recharge
If the empty red battery symbol is appearing on the display, than your iPhone would not be able to reboot/restart until it gets a certain amount of charge. All you need to do is plug your iPhone into a high-powered USB source, this is important since your computer might not be able to provide the required amount of charge to it otherwise. You don’t have to worry if the battery sign blinks three times and the screen goes black. This just means that the phone is not getting enough charge, plug it into another slot. If no image appears at all this would mean that the battery is totally drained, so keep it plugged in for a few minutes, the display would than appear.

2.   ReBoot
To restart your iPhone, you need to hold down the sleep and wake up button till the red slider is displayed. You turn off the handheld and the repeat the process. If the iPhone does not restart this way, you need to press the sleep and wake up button with the home button simultaneously for 10 seconds the least. The red slider would appear, but don’t let the buttons go until the Apple logo comes into display.

3.   Reset
You are to click on settings then General then select reset all settings. This would take the iPhone back to its default settings. No need to worry, since all your data and content would not be deleted and would remain on the iPhone.

This will reset all the settings to the factory defaults. None of the data or content on the iPhone will be deleted.

How Can You Possibly Avert The Need Of Cell Phone Repair

No matter how great they are, cell phone repair may be necessary.  Cell phones have become famous and grow exponentially. Gone are the days when you had to send letters in order to communicate. With a phone, you can simply send a text message and the recipient get the message instantly. They are the pillar of modern communication. Without a cell phone, life could not be enjoyable. Nevertheless, a cell phone is a delicate device and will need cell phone repair. As much as you try to protect it, there comes a time when it is bound to break. The screen is notoriously becoming the most vulnerable part of a cell phone.

Situations that lead to cell phone repair

There are many situations that can make your phone break or get damaged. If you want to avoid mobile phone repair, you need to avoid these kinds of situations. Most of the cell phone owners tend to put the phone in the front pocket of the shirt. This is a very dangerous position. If you bend down, the cell phone is likely to drop. When a cell phone drops down, the chances of the screen surviving are less. The place where the cell phone falls is also significant. If it falls in water, the situation becomes worse. You will need a lot of resources to correct a water-damaged cell phone. In this case, the cost to fix a cell phone will be higher.

If you put your cell phone in the back pocket, there are also chances that you could forget and sit on it. If this happens, the screen will definitely break. These are just some of the situations that can cause damage to a cell phone.

Does a cell phone case help to avert cell phone repair?

One of the most important responsibilities of a cell phone owner is to protect. If you take the appropriate measures and protect your cell phone, the chances of seeking cell phone repair are minimized. The use of a cell phone case has been known to yield good results towards the protection of a cell phone. It may not offer ultimate protection from breakage, but it reduces the chances of your cell phone cracking after falling down. Prevention is better that cure.

It is good to prevent the breakage rather that going for cell phone repair. It is imperative to note that most of the warranties do not cover accident damages. Having the right protection for the cell phone is definitely a wise decision. In case of any drop or slight impact, your cell phone stands that chance to survive. A cell phone case is simply an investment. It can save you a lot of money in future.

Cell phone repair can be a costly affair. The degree of the damage normally dictates the price of the repair. If your cell phone was extensively damaged, it is going to cost you a lot in order to make it functional again. This is because of the spare parts involved. It is wise to weight the option of going for a new replacement. If the cost of repairing is too high, you can opt to purchase a new cell phone instead of going for cell phone repair.

Electree Combines Style with Function

Solar-powered chargers are all the rage right now.  The LilyPad has already doubled its needed funds on Kickstarter, and it still has 13 days to go.  And now, we add the Electree to the mix.

Less portable than the LilyPad, the Electree is shaped like a bonsai tree (the branches can even be rearranged for more unique looks).  You can plug in a USB or AC adapter-powered device, which gives you the ability to charge just about anything.

Electree solar powered bonsai

The only downside?  It contains its own battery, so unlike the LilyPad which appears to charge the iPad directly through solar energy, the Electree must first solar-charge for 36 hours before you can plug in your phone.  Of course, it is still an improvement over plugging in your phone to your wall outlet.

On presale through Ulule for €269 (around $370), you can order your Electree and get it by Christmas if it reaches the required sales.  Can you think of anyone in your family or group of friends who would love to have this on their window sill?  Of course, it’s ok to shop for your own Christmas presents . . . .
