iPhone 4 Dual SIM Card Case Surfaces, But Will the iPhone 5 Have Dual SIM Card Capability?
An Italian iPhone accessories manufacturer has developed a way for you to access two different mobile accounts on the same iPhone 4. While both numbers can’t be used simultaneously,
this is the first dual-SIM case of its kind.
The case comes with a kit that replaces the iPhone 4 microSIM tray with its external dual SIM adapter. This allows you to use SIMs front different wireless carriers, or you can have separate numbers for work and personal use on the same iPhone. You can easily switch between the numbers in your settings or change them on a timer.
The case comes with six SIM adapters for UMTS, HSDPA, WCDMA, GSM, GPRS, and EDGE iPhones. There have been reports that the new iPhone 5 might feature dual SIM card capability, but these rumors are still unconfirmed. Check out this report done in March on the likelihood of a dual SIM iPhone 5.
Check out the manufacturer’s site for more info on where to buy and compatibility with your iPhone. It’s in Italian, so hopefully you’re using a browser with translate functionality. Would you use two SIMs? Leave a comment below.
